Optimize the use of your radar and enhance your radar navigational skills with this onboard training.

Training includes:

·        Use of the radar menu selections

·        Identifying and interpreting targets

·        Operation during reduced visibility

·        Collision avoidance

·        Radar assistance in navigation

For most boaters 4 hours of on board training is sufficient to greatly enhance their understanding of the radar as a collision avoidance tool and an aid in navigation.  Training can take place on your boat or on the BOATS of RI training vessel “Three Sisters”.
