BOATS of RI offers on board training using your GPS/Chartplotter.

Training includes: Use of the chartplotter menue selections, setting waypoints, creating routes, interfacing the chartploter with paper charts and currents conditions, chartplotter limitations. Training can take place on your boat or on the BOATS OF RI training vessel.

Have you invested in or are planning to buy a new chartplotter?  Have inherited the electronics of a previous owner and do not fully understand the use of the equipment?

For most boaters 4 hours of on board training is sufficient to greatly enhance their understanding of the chartplotter as an aid in navigation.  Training can take place on your boat or on the BOATS of RI training vessel “Three Sisters”.
